💳 Additional Charges & Payment Collection Policy for Hosts – How Reimbursements Work

💳 Additional Charges & Payment Collection Policy for Hosts

As a host on Mobi, you're empowered to recover costs when a trip doesn’t go as planned. From missing fuel to excessive mess, our platform provides a Payment Collection Portal where you can submit legitimate post-trip charges.

Mobi will help facilitate collections from guests—but it’s important to understand that:
  1. Mobi cannot guarantee payment collection, and
  2. Unpaid fees will not be reimbursed by Mobi.
As part of our 90% commission structure, hosts are expected to operate their vehicle as a business—this includes managing post-trip fees when needed.

🧾 Submitting Charges

All additional fees must be uploaded via the Mobi Payment Collection Portal, along with supporting documentation (photos, receipts, etc.). Mobi will notify the guest and assist in collecting the balance.

⚠️ Note: Guests who fail to settle outstanding balances will be banned from the platform until full payment is received.

💼 Host Control & Fairness

Hosts are responsible for entering charges accurately and fairly. You have control over the amount you request (up to a specified limit per fee type). We strongly encourage evidence-based charges + reasonable inconvenience fee to maintain trust and ensure successful collections.
