🧾 How Host Earnings & Fees Work

At Mobi, we believe in rewarding hosts who treat carsharing like a business. That’s why we’ve built a transparent earnings model that gives you control and clarity over how you make money on the platform.

🔹 Host Earnings Breakdown

You earn 90% of the daily vehicle price for each trip booked. Here’s how a typical transaction is structured:

✅ Example:
If your vehicle is listed at $50/day, your earnings would be calculated like this:
  1. $45 (90%) goes to you, the host
  2. $5 (10%) goes to Mobi
Your earnings do not include additional costs passed through to the guest (such as insurance or taxes).

🔁 Post-Trip Fees & Charges

🛠 Insurance Claims & Damage

If your vehicle was damaged or stolen during a trip:
  1. Submit your claim directly to our insurance partner.
  2. Claims are not handled by Mobi, but we’re happy to guide you through the process.

🚗 Your Responsibilities

  1. Hosts are responsible for all operational costs: maintenance, roadside support, cleaning, and ensuring vehicles are compliant and ready to go.
  2. Hosts are also subject to a $2,500 deductible in the event of damage (for vehicles under $55,000). Learn more in our Mobi Host Insurance Coverage & Protection Plan.
