🚗 Vehicle Condition & Acceptance Policy

Mobi is committed to ensuring that every guest receives a vehicle that is safe, roadworthy, and consistent with its listing description.

Inspect at Pickup

Guests are expected to inspect the vehicle at the start of the trip, including:

  • Overall cleanliness

  • Exterior and interior condition

  • Basic drivability and functionality

If the Vehicle Is Not as Expected

If the vehicle is defective, unsafe, or materially different from what was advertised, you must:

  • Contact Mobi Support immediately, and

  • Do so before starting your trip or within 1 hour of pickup

Mobi will work with you and the host to:

  • Cancel the trip, or

  • Help arrange a replacement vehicle where available

Acceptance of Vehicle

If you continue using the vehicle beyond 1 hour after pickup without reporting an issue, the vehicle will be considered accepted “as-is.”

This means:

  • You acknowledge the condition of the vehicle

  • You agree it meets your needs for the trip

  • You waive the right to dispute the vehicle’s condition at a later time

🛑 Important

Claims that a vehicle was “not as advertised” or “defective” after extended use (beyond the initial inspection period) will generally not be eligible for resolution through Mobi.
