🚗 Mobi Vehicle Eligibility Policy

To maintain a high-quality experience for both guests and hosts, all vehicles listed on Mobi must meet the following eligibility requirements:

✅ Basic Requirements

  1. Age Limit: Vehicle must be less than 15 years old.
  2. Mileage Limit: Vehicle must have fewer than 150,000 miles at the time of listing.
    1. Vehicles that reach or exceed 150,000 miles after listing may remain active if they’re in excellent condition and continue to meet all legal, safety, and mechanical standards.
  3. Value Cap: Vehicle must have a market value of $55,000 or less.
  4. Location & Registration: Vehicle must be located in the U.S., registered to you (the host), and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.

❌ Ineligible Vehicles

Vehicles that are not allowed on the platform include, but are not limited to:
  1. Limousines
  2. Off-road vehicles
  3. Motorcycles
  4. RVs and camper vans
  5. Three-wheeled vehicles
  6. Vehicles seating more than 10 occupants (including the driver)
  7. Vehicles that require a commercial driver’s license

⚙️ Operational Standards

  1. Odometer: Must be fully functional. Vehicles with non-working or tampered odometers are ineligible.
  2. Title Status: Vehicle must have a clean title (not branded or salvage). Hosts are responsible for verifying title history—services like Carfax can help.

These standards help ensure reliability, lower insurance risk, and a better experience for all users. Vehicles that don’t meet these requirements may be removed or rejected during the onboarding process.
