A Host should not independently charge or collect a Protection Plan deductible from a Guest simply because a deductible was applied to a Mobi claim.

The Host deductible represents the Host's responsibility under the Mobi Vehicle Protection Plan. It is not automatically an amount owed by the Guest directly to the Host.

Mobi may separately determine whether a Guest or another party is financially responsible for damage arising from an incident. Mobi may also pursue recovery from a responsible driver, third party, insurance carrier, rideshare company or other source when appropriate.

Hosts should not enter into a settlement, release a responsible party from liability or take actions that could interfere with Mobi's recovery rights after Mobi has provided Protection Plan benefits.

If you believe a Guest should be responsible for damage or other charges arising from a trip, contact Mobi rather than attempting to collect the Protection Plan deductible directly from the Guest.

This also helps prevent duplicate recovery for the same loss.
